agencybods expands

Posted on 3rd August, 2010 by Stef Hopkins in Marketing

A recruitment service launched by Carl Hopkins is expanding after two successful years.

agencybods.co.uk has until now specialised in sourcing candidates in the creative and marketing sector but is diversifying to cater for any business within Yorkshire with a recruitment need.

The service, which sets itself apart from other recruitments agencies due to its flat 10% fee structure, has taken on a new member of staff to aid its expansion.

Tracy Sheldon has joined as Senior Talent Manager and will be responsible for sourcing talented staff from admin level to more senior roles for both public and private sector companies, predominantly in the Mid Yorkshire area.
She brings with her more than 25 years experience in business – working in areas such as brand and product innovation, marketing, mentoring and coaching through to strategic change management.

Most recently, she was European marketing director for a leading packaging company with operations in more than 30 countries and serving sectors including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, media and entertainment, FMCG and home and garden.

She trained as a graphic designer with expertise in print and packaging before moving into general management. Her career has encompassed design, advertising, innovation, product development and managing ranges for the likes of Gillette and Unilever.

Speaking about the expansion s to the agencybods.co.uk portfolio of services Hopkins says: “I launched agencybods.co.uk, because, having been at the receiving end of recruitment consultants for many years, I wanted to provide a cost-effective recruitment solution for business owners.

“Our unique 10% flat fee and money back guarantee has proved extremely popular over the past two years and we have made a name for ourselves across Yorkshire, successfully placing candidates into all kinds of agencies from PR to design.

“We are receiving an increasing number of enquiries from non-agency companies who want to take advantage of our offer and pool of candidates. This is why I felt the time is right to expand and help these businesses find the best staff for their needs.”
