Posted on 20th June, 2012 by Stef Hopkins in News

Last week Carl was asked to be part of North Halifax Grammar School’s ‘Two Day Management Challenge’.

Carl was asked to be the after dinner speaker for all those who took part in the two day event. He delivered a short speech about his business career, including where he started out to where he has ended up.

The event was a great success, attended by the Principal of North Halifax Grammar, a collection of staff and all the business mentors taking part in the challenge.

Carl was also invited down to Wade Deacon High School on Friday 15th to deliver his most popular presentation ‘Estate, Education, Enterprise, Entrepreneur’.

Carl spoke to 300 Year 8 pupils about his journey; the council estate he started out on to where he is now, including what he has achieved along the way.

Carl attended the presentations on behalf of his Community Interest Company, Joblink Solutions, which was created to offer support to other organisations such as schools, colleges and other public sector bodies which help people prepare for work.
