I feel very lucky to be invited to speak at a variety of events. Whether it’s delivering keynote conference speeches, encouraging young people into enterprise, launching high profile campaigns, or holding motivational sessions for businesses, I love sharing my expertise and experience in a bid to inspire and inform.
Recent speaking engagements include delivering the keynote speech for the annual conference for Tribal, a leading provider of public sector services in the UK and internationally, and the Bradford Telegraph and Argos Business Awards which saw me deliver an after dinner speech and entertain the crowds. I have also recently spoken for: West Lancashire District Council, Weber Shandwick, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Pinsent Masons, Business Link, The Institute of Fundraising, Leeds Metropolitan University and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

My style is often described as ‘no-nonsense’ and ‘refreshingly sharp’. I definitely don’t do fluffy management speak. In fact, the language I often use is the sort of stuff that might make your old aunty blush – but I do know how to behave if asked.
But whatever I speak about, whether it is sharing my journey from council estate kid to Secret Millionaire or advising business owners on how to market themselves, I aim to provide straight-forward, understandable and actionable advice delivered with a good dose of humour.
