Serial entrepreneur Carl Hopkins was invited to deliver the after dinner speech, together with Judith Donovan CBE, at the launch of Village SOS, a major new initiative from the Big Lottery Fund (BIG) and the BBC. Village SOS is a search for six UK villages with a great business idea and six enterprising individuals to help them achieve their ambitions. Together they will create a brand new venture that will bring life and energy to the village, with funding of up to £400,000 from BIG.
