Young people to be honoured at housing association awards ceremony

A group of housing associations is set to celebrate the dedication and commitment of some the young people it works with at an awards ceremony.

The Airport group, an informal alliance of 14 like-minded, stock transfer housing associations, is holding its second annual Young Flyers awards on Wednesday 16 November at The City of Manchester Stadium and has invited Carl Hopkins to be a guest speaker and judge.

Carl was invited to help pupils at Brighouse High School celebrate outstanding achievements at the annual Junior Awards Ceremony. The school is a Business and Enterprise Specialist and as guest speaker for the evening, Carl delivered a short speech highlighting the need  to support young people in enterprise.
